Malla hiking socks are 3-layer merino wool socks with normal shaft, which
works perfectly also as a liner sock. Heel and toe are knitted as 3-layer which
increases durability and makes it breathable and warm. Outer layer on heel and
toe is polyamide, which gives it more durability. Malla sock has a seamless toe
and Y-heel. Grip on the arch improves mid-foot support and makes it even more
fitting. We recommend Malla for all year around use!

UphillSport Malla is named after a national park in the northern Lapland.
Malla area is in the far most upper region in Finland near Scandic mountains,
air there is cold, fresh and windy. The Malla liner can provide extra warmth
and stabilizing properties next to your skin as a liner under a heavier sock. Merino
wool works as insulation in the inner layer, when used as a liner. With a
thicker sock Malla combines air inside the fibers, giving a high-level insulation and ventilation to balance temperature on
your feet. Malla is also a great sock on its own for walking, running, cycling,
XC skiing. Malla’s Warmth grade is ideal
for all year around on its own and as a liner in the coldest conditions. Malla

WashingAll socks are suitable for a 40 degree machine wash. Tumble drying is not recommended. Socks may appear smaller after washing - it is recommended that you re-form the socks after washing for a better fit. Many socks have elastic yarns and because of this, they may seem smaller than they really are.
