UphillSport Ukko is named after a remote wilderness area in South east Lapland. Going hunting or fishing in the Ukko area is always a challenge. Overnight conditions can vary from warm to freezing. Ukko is inspired by multiple days hunting or fishing expeditions. The Ukko sock is perfect for long distance walks. The multilayer structure transfers moisture away from the skin keeping your feet warm and dry. The special combination in our multilayer with coolmax and merino wool performs perfectly and adapts to changing conditions. Coolmax and Merino wool holds air inside for ventilation and insulation for a Drytech solution. TheDrytech sock is designed to dry fast overnight and does not absorb sweat and smell. Our Merino wool is always mulesing free and adds warmth and breathability. This provides the perfect level of warmth, moisture control, and breathability - however the sock is medium in thickness. Ukko has a level 4 thermal grade. The foot part of the Ukko Sock has a fitted heel and elastane grip on the arch. This provides good support mid-foot and adds comfort by keeping the sock in place, wrinkle free. No more blisters with Ukko socks. Merino is knitted as terry on the sole; this increases softness and comfort for every step whether you are going uphill or downhill. Ukko is made at calf length to fit well above the Hiking shoe.
