Description

Classic Flight is a merino wool flight sock that combines a light compression structure with the natural benefits of merino wool. It improves travel comfort, and the classic black Color as well as the discreet look make these socks a practical choice for work and leisure flights, when long periods of sitting still feel heavy and your legs feel tired.

The knee-high flight sock has light graduated compression that is strongest around the ankle and gradually decreases toward the knee bend. The polyamide-reinforced sole adds durability in areas prone to wear. The seamless toe improves comfort by reducing chafing and pressure points.

The thin, smooth knit feels pleasant on the foot, and the wider rib cuff helps the sock stay securely in place and distribute pressure evenly.

Merino wool breathes effectively and wicks moisture away from the skin. It warms in cold conditions and cools in warm ones. Merino wool is also a naturally antibacterial material that repels odors, which is why the socks stay fresh even through a long day.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
