The socks in the Classic range are slightly longer than the normal ankle length, so that the legs of the suit trousers do not rise above the stocking.

Classic socks are thin and soft, making them comfortable against the skin. Classic socks are knitted using our finest manufacturing techniques. We have paid special attention to the heel and toe to ensure the best possible fit. The seamless toe prevents chafing and blisters.

Wear them to the office, or finish off a party outfit. Thanks to their slim construction, the socks fit well with both dress shoes and more casual footwear such as tennis shoes.

Merino wool is a naturally antibacterial and breathable material, which is why a good airing is often all that's needed to maintain the socks. Polyamide adds durability to the socks, which, combined with the minimisation of washing, prolongs the life of the socks.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
