Sukkamestarit is the only sock factory in Europe to use open-end NATIVA merino wool in its products. NATIVA merino wool is produced with respect for people, animals and nature. We currently save 700 000 litres of drinking water per year. How on earth do we do this?

Dandelion-patterned ankle-length merino wool socks for different dressing needs. Available in comfortable basic colors that are easy to combine with other accessories.

The seamless toe makes the sock comfortable to wear, as it helps prevent blisters and chafing. The narrow ribbing at the sock opening keeps it firmly in place, so the socks do not slip down.

Merino wool socks are well suited for everyday wear. Thanks to their thin structure, they feel comfortable in different types of footwear, from winter boots to loafers and sneakers.

The socks are made from responsibly produced NATIVA merino wool. As a material, it is breathable, soft, and provides just the right amount of warmth.

This product is also manufactured at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish work.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
