Sukkamestarit is the only sock factory in Europe to use open-end NATIVA merino wool in its products. NATIVA merino wool is produced with respect for people, animals and nature. We currently save 700 000 litres of drinking water per year. How on earth do we do this?

Thin merino wool socks are one of the easiest accessories to wear. Highlight the pattern with a solid-colored outfit, or put your personality into play and create your own striking look. The stretchy socks with a seamless toe are suitable for winter boots, sneakers, and loafers alike.

The ankle-length shaft covers the ankles just enough, keeping them warm. Thanks to the invisible toe seam, the socks also won’t chafe or cause uncomfortable pressure marks on the foot, and the elastic rib at the top prevents the socks from slipping down without feeling tight.

Merino wool is suitable for year-round use. It provides just the right amount of warmth while keeping feet dry, and it does not itch even on more sensitive skin.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
