Description

This sock brings a piece of Finnish storytelling tradition to your feet: the sock is patterned with pike motifs, which refer to the many water and natural forces in the Kalevala. The thin and seamless structure makes it pleasant to use every day.

The thin knit fits well in different types of shoes and also adds lightness to wear. The seamless design reduces chafing and is soft against the skin. Merino wool is an excellent material for varying conditions and makes this a versatile sock for many uses.

The Vedenvartija sock is suitable for everyday life, leisure, and work. The pike pattern gives the sock a calm, rhythmic look in a modern way.

As a material, merino wool is soft and odor-resistant, which makes the sock comfortable even with extended use. It breathes naturally and wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping your feet dry and comfortably warm all year round.

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
