Description

Korpi is a warm and well-fitting hiking sock, designed for hiking and outdoor activities in cooler conditions. A flexible rib runs the length of the sock on both the shaft and the foot. Merino wool is the main material of the sock and provides natural warmth for the feet.

The rib of the sock gives it a good fit, and the light compression at the arch supports the foot and improves the sock's ability to stay in place without feeling tight. The seamless toe reduces the risk of chafing and increases comfort even during extended use.

The ankle-length shaft protects the foot at the shoe collar and is well suited for hiking boots and wellingtons. The shaft stays firmly up and does not slip down during use. These socks have a warmth rating of 4, meaning they are very warm and ideal for cold weather. The structure of the Korpi sock makes it a good choice for hiking and outdoor activities when you want comfort and warmth from your socks.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
