Key product features:
Description
Laajo boot socks are made throughout of soft, thick merino wool knit. The longer-than-normal shaft stays well up and extends nicely over, for example, the leg of long underwear pants. Two lighter stripes are knitted into the shaft.
The socks have a thick merino wool terry sole that softens every step and also protects the feet well from the cold radiating up from the ground in winter. The calf-length shaft reaches high, warming the ankles and shins as well. The shaft is also elastic and keeps the socks securely in place.
The socks are at their best as traditional boot socks. However, the sturdy sock also leaves room underneath for merino wool liner socks, if your feet need extra warmth in severe frost.
Merino wool is a breathable material, which helps keep the feet dry and comfortable. The antibacterial properties of merino wool ensure that the socks do not start to smell during the day, even if your feet sweat a little from time to time. Polyamide has been added to improve the durability of the socks.
The recommended footwear for these boot socks is ankle boots, rubber boots, and hiking boots.
This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.
