Solid-colored, soft Paapo merino wool socks are especially suitable for those whose feet need light and as loose-fitting socks as possible.

The non-binding feature refers to the socks’ rolled cuff, which has no traditional ribbed fold at all. The idea of the rolled cuff is to distribute the pressure caused by the sock’s shaft evenly across the entire ankle and calf area instead of all the pressure being directed only at the calf area. Despite the rolled cuff, the socks stay on the feet well during everyday activities, but for sports it is worth choosing a snugger model. The socks’ fit is a normal size. The socks have a smooth, thin knit throughout.

The socks are especially suitable for feet suffering from swelling, for which it is important that the sock does not press tightly against the skin, but feels as light and unobtrusive as possible. Soft merino wool socks are suitable for those who may find ordinary wool itchy or irritating to the skin.

Merino wool has many good properties, such as breathability, antibacterial qualities, and warmth. When all of these are combined, you get socks that do not need to be washed after every use and still do not start to smell. Despite their thin structure, the socks are still warm and breathable, which helps feet stay dry and comfortable.

Smooth merino wool socks are suitable for almost all footwear.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
