Sukkamestarit is the only sock factory in Europe to use open-end NATIVA merino wool in its products. NATIVA merino wool is produced with respect for people, animals and nature. We currently save 700 000 litres of drinking water per year. How on earth do we do this?

Description

The classic Harto socks with a picot edge have been part of Sukkamestarit’s collection since production began in 1996. Now, in honor of the 30-year journey, we made this classic sock in merino wool!

The socks have a traditional sports sock cuff in rib knit, which keeps the sock securely in place. The soles have a soft terry knit that pleasantly cushions each step. At the opening of the sock is a picot decorative edge that gives the sock a feminine look.

Picot socks are excellent for everyday use, from sports to daily chores. Thanks to their thin construction, they are well suited for various types of footwear, from running shoes to sneakers.

As a material, merino wool is breathable and warming, and it does not retain odors, so your feet stay comfortably fresh and dry.

This product too is made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
