Posio - technical merino wool socks for hiking

Breathable and durable merino wool socks with ankle-length shafts are suitable for year-round use. The ankle-length shaft reaches well above the top of a hiking shoe, preventing the socks from slipping down inside the shoe. The thin socks feel light, but they still keep you warm even when worn on their own in cooler weather outdoors. Thanks to the discreet toe seam, no chafing or unpleasant pressure marks can form on the top of the foot.

Thanks to the Duratech three-layer construction, the sock has become a truly functional outdoor sock. The innermost layer against the skin is polypropylene, which efficiently wicks moisture away from the skin. The middle layer is merino wool, bringing warmth and breathability to the sock. The outer layer is polyamide, protecting the wool from the most active wear and adding durability to the socks. A light elastic knit around the foot improves the fit of the sock.

Posio socks are at their best when hiking in nature and on treks that put high demands on socks. Due to their thin structure, they are still also well suited for jogging, at work, or during leisure time.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.
