Description
Soft merino wool ankle socks with a non-binding cuff. With a thermal value of 3, Vire socks are very warm despite their very thin structure. The cuff ribbing is knitted to be more elastic and looser than usual, which gives the socks a non-binding feel on the foot.
Non-binding socks are best suited for those who have swollen feet and who often find regular socks tight around the ankle and calf. The socks are well suited for everyday use, both for casual wear and for more formal attire.
Merino wool makes the socks highly breathable and helps keep feet dry despite occasional sweating. Merino wool is also naturally antibacterial, meaning the socks stay fresh longer as the main material repels unwanted odors. Polyamide has been added to increase durability.
The thin Vire socks fit into almost all footwear, from sneakers to loafers and winter shoes. For heavy footwear, we recommend a thicker sock.
This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.
