Description

Valta junior socks are merino wool, knee-high skiing and downhill skiing socks.

In the knee-high skiing and downhill skiing socks, the sole and front of the shin are soft and thicker. Light compression in the foot and ankle keeps the sock firmly in place. Thanks to the 4-layer structure, the best properties of the materials used in the sock have been put to good use. The cuff of the sock has strong elastane throughout, which helps the socks stay in place better and evens out the feeling of pressure. The inconspicuous toe seam prevents chafing.

Excellent downhill skiing and skiing socks, but they also work well in other winter sports such as snowshoeing or sledding.

Merino wool and polypropylene together effectively wick moisture away from the skin, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Merino wool improves the breathability of the socks and adds warmth. Due to their antibacterial properties, merino wool socks also do not easily start to smell, even if your feet sweat a little during use. This extends both the washing interval and the service life of the socks effectively.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
