Sukkamestarit is a Finnish sock factory in Ylöjärvi. We have been making socks since 1996. We are known, among other things, for patterned merino wool socks. Last spring, you may also have spotted us in various national media after we won a tender from the Danish Defence Forces. We produce items for three of our own brands: Sukkamestarit socks for everyday wear, UphillSport technical merino wool socks for movement, and TOEZZ Hockey cut-resistant socks and wrist guards for ice hockey.
We are now looking for a MASTER OF KNITTING MACHINES to join our skilled sock team with a great atmosphere.

Your job description:
As the master of knitting machines, you will make sure that our knitting machines operate flawlessly and that production runs smoothly and with high quality.
Your duties include:
- Preventive maintenance and servicing of knitting machines
- Locating and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Fine-tuning machines and checking settings
- Collaboration with knitters and pattern makers
What we expect from you:
- Mechanical skills and an understanding of electrical engineering
- Accuracy and carefulness when working with precision mechanical systems
- Good technical manual skills and basic confidence in using computers
- Basic English skills, as the language of knitting machines is English
- A desire to learn new things and develop yourself
Tinkering with machines, adjusting them and troubleshooting feel natural to you - you enjoy solving problems and keeping production running.

Hours, workplace and pay:
- Workplace: Our factory in the Teivo business park, Ylöjärvi
- Working time is 40 hours/week, interrupted three-shift work (weekends off)
- Salary is determined according to your level of expertise
- Probation period: 4 months
