Description

These monochrome merino wool socks are decorated with an ornamental pattern knitted at the top of the stem. A thin stripe is knitted at the mouth of the stocking to complete the look. The ankle-length socks are perfect for classic formal and business wear.

The thin and smooth texture of the socks is pleasant to the touch. They are made using the finest sockmaking techniques. The heel and toe have been designed with special attention to ensure a good fit. The seamless tip also effectively prevents the formation of blisters and abrasions.

The merino wool socks are at their best for everyday use, for example in the office, but also work well with a smart party dress or trouser suit.

The socks are made from responsibly produced NATIVA merino wool. The material is breathable, soft and warm. Merino wool is also suitable for sensitive skin as it is non-itchy.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
