Contact - technical socks for tactical use

Contact socks are a sock for the lead man in tough action. The socks are made entirely of synthetic fiber, with polypropylene as the main material.

The socks have a thin, mesh-like structure, which makes them very breathable and comfortable to wear. The socks dry quickly when they get wet, and they have a discreet toe seam that prevents chafing and blisters from forming on the foot. The shaft that covers the ankle effectively protects the feet from the cold. Light compression at the arch improves the fit.

The socks are at their best as a liner sock under stronger merino wool socks, providing extra warmth and making the moisture-wicking properties of the Contact socks best utilized. The socks can also be worn on their own, even when going for a run in warmer weather.

Polypropylene effectively wicks moisture away from the skin if your feet sweat during the day. When feet stay dry, they do not start to feel cold, and the comfort remains pleasant. Synthetic fibers withstand mechanical abrasion well, so these socks are highly durable.

Due to their thin structure, the socks fit well into even snug shoes, such as sneakers, and are also suitable as liner socks under thicker socks.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.
