Merino wool Lauka knee socks made entirely of a smooth and thin knit.

The knee-length socks keep you warm all the way up to the knee despite their thin structure. The cuff of the sock leg is elastic and keeps the socks firmly up, improving their fit.

Knee socks are a truly versatile accessory for both everyday wear and formal outfits. They provide extra warmth for the entire legs from knees to toes as needed, and in addition to trousers, they also go well with skirts and dresses, for example in spring and autumn when the weather is a little cooler.

Merino wool gives the socks breathability, which helps keep the feet dry. The antibacterial properties of merino wool prevent odor formation, which extends the washing interval and service life of the socks. Polyamide increases the socks’ durability.

The thin knee socks are suitable for almost all shoes.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish work.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
