Description

The Minno socks have a discreet top seam, making them an excellent choice for more sensitive feet, as they do not cause any indentations or chafing on the instep. The standard length shaft provides good protection for the ankles, keeping them warm even in chilly weather. The socks are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, but in colder weather you should wear another pair of slightly thicker socks on top to maximise their warming properties.

Striped socks are a nice pick-me-up for ankle-length jeans, for example, but they also work well with joggers in milder weather.

Merino wool adapts well to different temperatures, making it a good material for year-round use. A simple airing rather than a water wash is sufficient maintenance for merino wool socks if you just want to freshen them up after use, as merino wool is naturally antibacterial. The socks have been made more wear-resistant by adding polyamide.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi, with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
