Seamless and flexible merino wool socks work well, for example, in office work but also in everyday chores.

In sizes 35-50 there is an invisible toe seam (=seamless), in smaller sizes there is a regular linked seam.

Ideal for all year round use, merino wool socks are a highly breathable and antibacterial material. Even if your feet sweat during the day, merino wool socks won't start to smell at the end of a long day. Polyamide, on the other hand, has been used to add wear resistance to thin socks.

The toe seam of the socks is knitted discreetly smooth, which prevents unpleasant abrasions on the skin. The flexible, ankle-length shaft stays up well and warms the feet well above the ankle.

The thin and smooth construction of the Naapa makes it ideal for a wide range of sports and leisure footwear. Under thicker socks, Naapa works well as a base layer to provide extra warmth in the winter blast.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
