Classic Alpaca - ankle socks, alpaca wool

Soft and warm alpaca wool socks are like a hug for your feet. Alpaca wool socks are not only beautifully patterned, but also highly breathable, making them ideal, for example, as sleep socks for feet that crave warmth. The leg part of the sock and around the ball of the foot feature a subtle and beautiful pattern. The ribbed cuff has a neat double stripe matching the colors of the pattern.

Classic Alpaca socks have a shaft that reaches well above the ankle, made entirely of thick terry knit, providing especially good protection for the feet against the cold. The thick socks cushion your step and feel pleasant on the skin. Alpaca wool, up to seven times warmer than ordinary sheep's wool, provides effective warmth, and the strong structure enhances the socks' insulating properties. The seamless toe prevents chafing and discomfort effectively.

When considering the ideal use for alpaca wool socks, you can safely prioritize comfort. All kinds of chilling, relaxing, and lounging are the best things you can do while wearing alpaca wool socks! Alpaca wool is somewhat less durable, which is why we do not recommend particularly active activities with them – the less mechanical abrasion the socks are exposed to, the longer their lifespan.

Super warm alpaca wool is also a very breathable material, making it excellent for year-round use. Synthetic fibers are added to the socks to increase durability and flexibility.

We recommend keeping the combined use of socks and shoes to a minimum, as socks are always under considerable abrasion in shoes. However, for quick trips to the mailbox or fetching firewood, the socks are excellent and will keep your feet warm even when winter's frost tries to bite.

This product, too, is made at Sukkamestari's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.
