Description

Merino wool 4-layer construction socks for year-round use. The sock has been developed for the hunting grounds of the Rovajärvi area and according to the harsh demands of that region. The Uphill Rova text is knitted behind the rib cuff.

Made entirely of merino wool, the Rova socks have a 4-layer construction that allows the best properties of the materials used in the socks to be put to use. The foot part is completely merino wool. Light compression at the arch and above the ankle improves the fit of the socks. The thermal rating of the socks is 5, meaning they are among the warmest socks we make. There is a discreet toe seam on top of the toes, which helps prevent chafing.

The socks are designed especially to meet the demands of fishing and hunting, but they can also be used well in other outdoor activities all year round.

Merino wool and polypropylene together efficiently wick moisture away from the skin, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Merino wool improves the breathability of the socks and adds warmth. Due to their antibacterial properties, merino wool socks also do not easily start to smell, even if your feet sweat a little during use. This effectively extends both the washing interval and the service life of the socks.

Rova is well suited for rubber boots, hiking boots, and membrane boots.

This product is also manufactured at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
