The medium-thick, super soft Saana socks are a delight with their materials and construction. Thanks to the special Flextech construction, the socks are really flexible and comfortable to wear. The thick sole softens the step comfortably even on long hikes, and the ankle-length shaft extends well above the shank of the shoe. And because the socks have an unobtrusive toe seam, they don't cause chafing or indentations on the foot.

A light foot-tensioning system improves the fit and keeps the socks in place better. The elastic structure helps keep unwanted compression at bay.

The Saana socks are ideal for camping all year round. They can be worn on their own without an undersock, or in colder weather with thin merino wool undersocks, for example. In winter, they are also suitable for outdoor activities or yard work, where there is a lot of standing and feet need softness and warmth.

Merino wool gives the socks breathability and warmth. It is naturally antibacterial, which means the socks won't get smelly even if your feet sweat during the day. Merino wool also transfers moisture from the skin to the outer layers of the sock, keeping feet dry. Cotton and polyamide give the socks durability, softness and flexibility.

Socks are at their best when worn as hiking boots in autumn and winter, when conditions are cooler or colder. For regular sneakers, socks are a little too thick and buttoned up, which prevents air from circulating between the sock and the shoe, and the sock's properties are not in their favour.
