Sukkamestarit is the only sock factory in Europe to use open-end NATIVA merino wool in its products. NATIVA merino wool is produced with respect for people, animals and nature. We currently save 700 000 litres of drinking water per year. How on earth do we do this?

Thin merino wool socks with a beautiful star pattern on the stem. Neutrally coloured, these socks are easy to combine with a wide range of outfits.

The socks have a discreet top seam that effectively prevents chafing and blisters. Flexible and breathable, the socks are comfortable to wear for long days. The sock's mouth gusset keeps the sock well up.

The merino wool material is breathable, soft and warm. The socks have a heat rating of 3 and are comfortable to wear every day and are also ideal for indoor use. Merino wool is also suitable for sensitive skin as it is non-itchy.

The socks are made from responsibly produced NATIVA merino wool, which is always mulesing free.

This product is also made in Sukkamestare's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
