Halla - technical wool socks for skiing

Halla socks are ideal for winter sports, especially skiing and downhill skiing. Knitted with a 4-layer construction, they keep your feet warm and dry all day on the slopes. Unlike the product images, some of the socks have already been renewed UphillSport-logo on the back of the sock opening on the rib, rather than on the side of the leg.

The long-legged socks have a thermal rating of 3, which means that they keep you warm even in winter temperatures. For extra warmth, the socks can be worn with a very thin merino wool understocking. The thin sock has a light padding on the front of the leg for extra comfort. The shaped heel and light tensioning with the arched arm help the socks stay in place. The 4-layer construction gives the socks a functional and warm feel.

Halla socks are at their best when skiing or other winter sports, where it is important to protect the whole foot from cold and snow, from toe to knee.

The Quick-Dry treated polyamide repels moisture, which helps the socks stay dry all day long, even if your feet do get a little sweaty from time to time. Merino wool is a warm and antibacterial material that prevents odours and gives the socks breathability.

The snug fit allows the socks to fit well in ski boots and ski touring boots, as well as other outdoor shoes.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.
