Description
One of the best things about alpaca wool is its warmth - it's up to seven times warmer than sheep's wool. However, its abrasion and rub resistance is significantly lower than sheep's wool, which is why socks made from alpaca wool are at their best for low-wear applications such as sleep socks.
The normal length shaft warms the foot well above the ankle. The shaft is knitted as a stretch knit to prevent the feeling of compression on the calf and increase comfort. The socks also feature terry soles that comfortably cushion every step.
Alpaca wool is completely lanolin-free, which often makes it ideal for people with wool allergies.
This product is also made in Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.
