Very warm alpaca wool socks with a non-binding cuff.

The ribbed cuff fold is slightly wider than normal, which helps prevent a tight feeling at the ankle. Despite their relatively thin structure, the socks have a warmth rating of 4, meaning they provide excellent warmth even when worn alone in freezing weather. The socks are also highly breathable and flexible.

Alpaca wool has relatively poor durability, which is why alpaca wool socks are best suited for use as sleeping socks and comfortable home socks.

Alpaca wool contains no lanolin at all, so it is also well suited for people with wool allergies. Polyamide adds a bit more durability and elasticity to the socks.

This product is also made in Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish work.

Care instructions:

wash at up to 30 degrees
avoid machine washing in water
the most important maintenance measure for alpaca wool products is ventilation
prefer hand washing when the product is dirty
if machine washing, use a wool detergent and programme
do not use detergents containing fabric softeners or bleaching agents
if machine washing, use the lightest spin cycle possible
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
style socks while slightly damp
use a lint remover - alpaca wool socks are easily linted by rubbing
