Short-leg merino wool sports socks with a terry sole. The cuff has sporty stripes at the top of the sock.

Durable and soft-feeling sports socks, more commonly known as tennis socks, are reliable everyday socks. Short-leg sports socks are a good summer alternative to traditional ankle-length sports socks if those feel too warm for hot weather. The elastic shaft of the socks feels comfortable and is snug enough to keep the socks up well without creating a tight feeling.

Merino wool sports socks are suitable for year-round use for both work and sports.

Vauhti socks are highly breathable and soft, and they are also well suited for sensitive skin. With merino wool socks, a little foot perspiration is nothing to fear, as merino wool is antibacterial and helps prevent the formation of unwanted odors. Polyamide adds extra durability to the socks.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
