The Danish Armed Forces have chosen Contact-liner socks as part of their outdoor equipment for year-round use.

The thin and breathable Contact-liner socks offer optimum comfort both on their own and as underwear. Its lightweight construction allows for excellent moisture wicking, keeping feet dry all day long. The polyamide reinforced heel and toe increases the durability and extends the life of the sock. The snug fit and seamless toe prevents chafing and blisters.

Contact-Liner works alone as an under-sock in summer heat and in winter frosts. Combine with the Arctics sock of choice for the armed forces, for example, for the best performance.

The Merino wool material breathes and helps regulate heat. It adapts to the ambient temperature, keeping you warm in cold conditions and cool in hot weather. This makes the sock a versatile choice for both everyday and active use all year round.

This product is also made in Sukkamestare's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
