Varrettomsa Ilmo socks with cap sleeve.
The purpose of the strip behind the ankle is to prevent chafing and blisters on the Achilles tendon. The terry sole, on the other hand, provides extra comfort for movement and sports performance by making the stride feel softer. Despite their low shank, the socks fit well over low-heeled shoes and do not run off the foot inside the shoe.
Socks are at their best during gym workouts or summer runs, for example. In cooler weather, the materials and the length of the shank may make them too cool, but in warmer weather, the possibilities are almost limitless.
Cotton as the main material makes the socks durable, while the terry backing further enhances the abrasion resistance of cotton. Cotton is soft and breathable, making it a versatile material for those who are itchy and sensitive to, for example, ordinary wool.
This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.
