Description

Merino wool pine resin socks with a non-tightening cuff. The word Pihka is knitted on the toe area, over the toes.

The Pihka polyamide yarn used in the socks contains 10 percent pine resin. Pihka socks are not suitable for people with resin allergies. The more spacious-than-normal cuff prevents a constricting feeling on the foot. Despite their thin structure, Saares socks are very warm and also protect the ankles from the cold.

This product is also manufactured in Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for merino wool socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
