Description

The ankle-length merino wool socks are designed to cover the ankle, keeping them warm even in the coolest seasons. The patterned merino wool socks are thin in thickness, but the polyamide knitted patterns add a little extra thickness and softness. The sheath socks are good enough to keep your feet warm in autumn and spring, but in winter frosts you should wear wool terry socks for extra warmth when you go outdoors.

Patterned merino wool socks look great with an otherwise plain outfit and also work well with trainers, even at the gym. When thinking of possible uses, only your imagination is the limit!

Merino wool is naturally antibacterial, which makes the socks suitable for more sweaty feet, as they won't start to smell after a long day. For merino wool socks, a generous airing is often all that is needed after use; a water wash is not necessary to simply freshen them up. The polyamide adds durability to the socks and their cute seal patterns.

This product is also made in Sukkamestare's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
