Virva - technical bamboo socks for camping

The socks have a slightly longer ankle length shaft that reaches down to the bottom of the calf. The socks have a thermal rating of 2, which makes them ideal for intermediate seasons and summer temperatures. The flexible shaft feels comfortable and does not cause any unpleasant tightness.

The bamboo viscose absorbs moisture well, which helps keep feet dry. In addition, bamboo viscose is very soft against the skin and does not itch sensitive skin. The thick sole makes walking more comfortable and softens your steps even on challenging terrain. A light stretch on the footbed improves the fit.

Virva socks are suitable for short day hikes as the bamboo viscose does not dry out quickly when wet. Why not also wear them on, for example, a mushroom or berry forest, where you'll be on your feet a lot and your feet are particularly hungry for comfort? The socks are too thick for a traditional sneaker, so the air doesn't circulate between the sock and the shoe sufficiently.

Polyamide gives the socks more wear resistance and elastane adds flexibility.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi, Finland, with 100% Finnish labour.
