Description

The socks are knitted with a 3-layer construction that makes the best use of the properties of different materials. Despite the multi-layer construction, the ankle-length socks are light and thin, but keep your feet warm even in cooler weather.

The inner layer of the sock is polypropylene, which effectively wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep feet dry. The middle layer is made of merino wool to give the socks warmth and breathability. The top layer is polyamide, a very durable synthetic fibre, which provides excellent protection against the heaviest wear and tear. Multilayer This makes the sock functional and durable.

The Teijo socks are at their best when used for outdoor activities such as hiking on nature trails or going for walks. They are well suited for use on their own, but also perform well as a base layer under a thicker sock, for example in hiking boots or boots.

Merino wool is a highly breathable and antibacterial material. It also keeps you warm when damp and dries quickly. In many cases, socks can be maintained by simply airing them out, without the need for a water wash. Polypropylene is a good moisture wicking material, and is therefore well suited to socks designed to control perspiration on the feet, for example during sporting activities. Polyamide, on the other hand, provides durability and flexibility.

Thanks to its thin structure, Teijo is ideal for use in jogging shoes and gym shoes, for example, and in combination with a thicker sock for work shoes. In a very loose shoe, such as a rubber boot, Teijo is not at its best when it is subjected to heavy mechanical abrasion and has a thin structure.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarei's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labour.

Care instructions:
